April Faith Fund Update

Brendan MurphyonMonday, April 15, 2024 The Faith Fund continues to grow. A total of $17,035 has been received. Of that, $10,000 is for the General Endowment Fund and has been invested. Its market value as of March 31 was $10,502.31 . The remaining $7,035 is for the Permanent Endowment Fund and will be invested once it reaches $10,000. Currently there are 25 individuals and families, including 2023 Vestry members, who are members of the Red Door Society. These are the people who have given or who have made a planned gift to the Faith Fund. Their names are listed on the St. Timothy’s website. The Faith Fund is St. Timothy’s endowment and it was established last year. The earnings from the Faith Fund enable St. Timothy’s to more completely fulfill its mission by providing funds for its ministries and capital needs beyond what is possible through its annual operating funds. In addition to gifts made through planned giving, there is a wonderful opportunity to make a gift in memory of or in thanksgiving for someone or something. For more information visithttps://www.st-tim.org/saint-timothys-faith-fund/or contact John Porter-Acee or Endowment Committee chair Barbour Strickland.

Holy Week at Home (via phone)

Brendan MurphyonTuesday, March 12, 2024 Are you looking for a deeper way to experience Holy Week? This year, from Palm Sunday to Easter Sunday, you can sign up to receive text messages in real-time to walk with Jesus during his final days. When we say ‘real-time’ we mean it! Some text messages will arrive early in the morning or late at night as we truly walk with Jesus and experience the events leading to His death and resurrection. As you read the texts, our hope is that you’ll live the Easter story as if it were happening in the moment.(I, Martha, signed up last year and it was fascinating and a lovely way to experience Holy Week in real time, even if I couldn’t make it to services.)Sign up hereor text HOLYWEEK to (833) 629 – 0176.
